Chris's post is very interesting and very useful, but
I feel the need to reply because he took a swipe at me
halfway through, when in fact his analysis confirms in
a lot more detail what I was saying via Nietzsche -
that positive valuation of work/conformity and
identification with molar totalities (the "white
Universalism" especially) are at the root of the
formation of reactive structures, and that the masses
on the whole are subsumed in such attachments to a
degree which renders social reaction pervasive.  So
any radicalisation would have to involve an uphill
battle against such nonsense, and would have to
involve (for instance) a redefinition of desire in
directions contrary to work and "white Universalism"
and an overcoming of all the slave-moralities of
religion, work-fetishism, etc.  What is so
"petty-bourgeois" about this?  It is very revealing
when someone criticises someone else, but then
provides an analysis which simply confirms the very
same conclusions.
