More seriously, two questions: where did that stupid 'empire is a new
communist manifesto' quote come from? I think Zizek said it, in a
quote on the back cover of the book, but then right away he started
attacking the book "it's no communist manifesto, despite claims that
it is!" when I think he (and much dumber other vanguardists echoing
him) is the only one who ever said that. Am I right here?

Also, O'Toole says that 'Marxists' would differ from Negri because
Negri's strategy of Exodus means "do not participate in the imperial
constitution". Is this right? I was under the impression that Negri is
calling precisely for participation in imperial constitution,
materially in struggle to push forward the construction of empire, and
politically - participating in it politically (the whole 'new Magna
Carta' bit and the [implied] call for global full employment).
