What are you talking about?  Or, should I say: I'm
not sure you're responding to what I wrote, and
what it was a specific response to.   As far as I
can tell, neither of us has a sense of what
happened in those particular events and how it led
to that point.  I haven't commented on that.

I am, however, pretty sure that when Callinicos
writes garbage like this:

what he means is they want to monopolise the use
of violence within movements.  This is what
'stewards' do.  They can cry foul, but they're
hypocrites.
