there is also alot of activity around organizing part-time and contingent academic workers.
numerous websites exist for activists affiliated with the Conference on Contingent Academic Labor (COCAL), which includes official union reps as well as activist organizers from Canada, the US, and Mexico.
these groups are now starting some out-reach and cross-sector organizing with other contingent workers.
