You may be well be right. I wasnt really saying hey guys look the
"Bolivarian" thingy needs our support.  More like in the "spectacle of
empire" to  your average punter (whether left or not) the whole
Venezuelan situation is incommunicable to the extent that l they see are
uniforms and berets and "democrats" in the streets. I suspect you may be
right that any real change is trapped in the current circumstances, but
I think also you could maybe say Chavez has let the cat out of the bag
and it will be pretty hard for anyone to keep the "venezuelan multitude"
under wraps without a real application of force.
