AUT: unions against the war??
Chris W, / Herald, et al,
Yes, Chris, Autopsy list is one venue for the communists/left,
anarchists, councilists, etc, to have debate, and discourse, necessarily
very heated sometimes, of course - maybe make contacts-friends
to work with too..
But this venue has a lot of differences too with mass actions,
demos, meetings, where there is direct human contact, etc.
Here we have a majority thet are inside the proletarain camp -
or somewhere around it, Outside, we are a tiny minority- today
really up against it -- all forms of bourgeois , petty bourg. ideology-
politics and its well funded Orgs. who historically have been the rulers
little helpers-- usually from the official/unofficial 'left' of capital..
my point here is that communists have to be scientific and
study the pol. terrian of struggle/methods employed in the big
mass motions because just looking to objective criteria alone
to bring the masses into revolutionary conclusions, determination,
steadfastness to wage a good fight for rev. changes is woefully lacking
the social contradictions involve BOTH objective and subjective
factors at work. Yes, I think an Comm. internationalist Pol. currents will
grow in influence to some degree and eventually new parties will be born --
but
mainly out of the new struggles growing themselves. But also likely is
that
as the crisies deepen , reactionary forces growth , maybe even coming
originally from 'populism' of various sorts, is a big possiblilty too.
So, yes to a degree, communists have to wage a battle for the hearts and
minds of workers doing so politically Organized -- things don't stand
still -- we
can oscillate both forward and backward.- The rulers trends -- including
their
state-cap 'left' wings will not stand still either, they are working and
will
work like trojans for their 'solutions' . My advise is we had better be
politically
working at least as hard for our wageless- classless and stateless ones
as well ..
Herald doubts that in the big US march 'official' organizers really "
controlled"
most of the 200,000 that marched in Wash DC on the 18th -- maybe not
formally,
Organizationally, but their class/social/political influences in
the mass consciousness is sure to have existed and is no doubt
imbibed ideologically in stronger doses than he thinks , by the nature
and
conscious functioning of capitalist social relations & dominance
themselves..
