AUT: any archeologist on aut-op-sy?

Hi,

since last month in France, there's a workers of archeology movement against
downsizing in our job (about 400 colleagues risk to loose their job). Three
days of strike - a little one, compared to 1998 onemonth long strike - and
various demonstrations and direct actions (official building and museums
occupation, and so on.). Now, the objective is a day-by-day guerilla against
the  minister of culture. We already know there will be a change in the law
about archeology in march, so we prepare for a bigger strike at this time.

During this movement, unionists from both CNT-Vignolles, CNT-AIT and other
anarchists and council communist working in archeology met and decided to
get stronger links for a common intervention in the movement and reflexion
about our job. We'll meet alltogether in Nantes (west of France) 25 and 26
of januar, to discuss about common issues. A few comrades from Germany will
be there too. So, if you are yourself an archeologist (worker, student,
scholar) or in a related field (museum, national heritage, and so on), feel
free to take contacts with us to form an international network and, if
possible, to come at the meeting.
