hi all
I'd like to second Dave's comments about this list lately. I really don't
see the point of discussing 'Empire' for the 20th time.
>the discussion about empire v imperialism sometimes makes sense to me and
>sometimes doesn't - but speaking as an activist, I had already arrived at
>some of the same conclusions eg on national liberation WTIHOUT having to go
>'round the houses' the way Negri does.
Whether 'Empire' or 'Imperialism' is correct national liberation struggles
deserve no support from communists. Let's leave that racket to the leftists
who see subjectivity residing anywhere but the proletariat, be it in the
party, the unions or the (proto-)bourgeoisies in oppressed' nations.
cheers
peter
