Thomas, you accuse Baraka of 'socialist realism' then
contrast him negatively with Coltrane on the basis of
the fact that he sells 'Leninist snake oil', whatever
that is. I had connected Coltrane to Baraka
stylistically, but you demand that Baraka's politics
be brought into the comparison. Isn't this the essence
of socialist realism? As an aside, aren't you the guy
who was translated some of Negri's stuff into English?
If you were, then you are responsible for far greater
insults to the English language than Baraka.
