The book is: "Il provinciale. Settant'anni di vita italiana" by Giorgio
Bocca, Mondadori, 1991. The quote can be found at page 289.

in Italian: costituzione di banda armata e associazione sovversiva, concorso
morale in rapine e furti e nell'omicidio di un carabiniere a Argelato,
durante una rapina.

All in all only associative crimes without ANY factual basis. Fifteen
years(four of which he spent in a maximum security jail). More interesting,
though, is the history of what Toni had been accused in the first place: to
be the mastermind behind every single thing had happened in Italy in the
second half of the 70s (we should not forget that Negri spent part of the
seventies, 1977-78, called by Althusser in Paris, giving his lectures about
"Marx Beyond Marx"). In my opinion the garbage written by Bocca it had been
written to counterbalance his previous(Bocca's) semi-good (enough to prove
the so called "teorema Calogero" false) investigation in the book "Il caso 7
Aprile."

ciao,
alessandro
