AUT: state capitalism
Tahir--
M. Djilas (the New Class)i think is OK dealing with /exposing with the
political superstructure
(parasiticParty-bureacracy)of state -cap (ex) Yugoslavia but dealing with
the how the economic basis
was fromed up as a social/class relation, its capitalist laws of waged
slavery,
value and surplus value, how it too exploits the working class,
he is somewhat shallow, far too shallow, if i remember correctly.
There are many 'state cap' analyses now , form the earliest are more
serious , The Council communists,
SPGB parliamentarians, and the Communist- left ,and some anarchists who say
state cap was built up soon
after Nov. 1917 .
There are also the more later politically contradictory (self-serving)
analysis of some maverick social democrats, trots, and even stalino's
who say state-caps rule happened, in 1929, 1939, 1956, etc.
Its a key study and has key lesson for working class partisans ,
frustrating sometimes, but if socialism is to
have a re-birth in/out of the working class stuggles, the bourgeois
propaganda (and corrupt leftists too)
about' stalinism = socialism' has to be debunked and exposed as a vicious
self-serving lie of the ruling class and its toadies..
