I paraphrased the part of the article that whined about
foreigners as I thought that was particularly dumb. That's why I
put it in quote marks, added 3 exclamation marks and said "it
bleats". Did you really think I agreed with that shit? Maybe I
don't make myself clear but maybe you should read what you're
replying to properly before you hit the send button.

yeah that was me that said that. Its actually me that you're
agreeing with while you're disagreeing with me.

I didn't post it, and I'm not going to speak for Peter who did.
As for me what I thought about the article was that at one point
it answered what to me, at the moment, is an interesting
question. And I wanted to know if that answer is just pure
bullshit or actually touches on the truth. I guess what I really
wanted is someone to reply with "Hey, you should read article X
by communist individual/group Y, which is online at www.Z.blah,
which argues this better/repudiates this nonesense".

>don't expect them to become committed revolutionaries when the

Yes and no. Obviously people don't become "committed
revolutionaries when the Dow takes a nose dive". But it'd be
wrong sketch out revolution as "first 'we' write the 'positive
program', then spread it amongst the masses until enough people
agree with it, then the mass implements the program". People's
ideas change and develop in struggle. Also, the last time I
posted something to this list, it was a leaflet on Palestine,
etc which argued that the contraction of the economy actually
undermined the radical elements of class struggle. Ie the
opposite opinion of the one you are ascribing to me on the basis
that I ask 2 or 3 questions.

and now those questions have been completely forgotten in
typical email list exchange.

the only real response to the question was face to face with
someone who said its wrong because the US government have said
that they will just allow the dollar to fall (free market and
all)
