The Origins of Modern Leftism traces various origins of the European
anti-capitalist anti-state critique, from the Russian populist movement to
the early anarchists to Marx and various dissenting faction within the
mainstream socialist movement.  The Radical Tradition follows these strands
up through the 1960's, describing closely some of the theoretical debates
within the "council communist" and "autonomist" circles.
