If Negri+Hardt are right, we are seeing the decline of
the nation-state. With the decline of the
nation-state, nationalism also starts to die.
Tahir: Well not much sign of that in the US right now is there?
Hence, to equate fascism with extreme nationalism,
won't make too much sense in a couple of years (hardly
anyone will be seen as a fascist).
Tahir: Well, a lot of ifs here. I don't see the nation state diappearing. But if there were no nation states (within a couple of years - are you serious?) then I would find it hard to understand what the nature of fascism would be. Can you conceive of fascism within H & N's scenario? And if so, what would it look like?
