i'm not entirely sure where to start... do you have any specific questions?

i guess the basis of it is this: i view communism / revolution as movement.
marx defined communism as the movement to abolish the current state of
things, and in another place refered to it as the movement against
alienation and for community (i'm paraphrasing both of these). what's
important here is understanding "movement" as a verb. as "moving".

now, given that we've has several thousand years of class society in various
forms, i think its important to understand that any "post capitalist"
society will involve generations of gradually weeding out left-over
(non-institutionalized) social relations and tendencies. and by then, or
even before then, we might very find that we can go further.

on the flip side i think its dangerous to view communism as an endpoint and
not a movement 1) because this often means ignoring how aspects of what we
are doing now are apart of / contribute to the communist movement
(regardless of whether or not we're aware of it); and 2) because that kind
of goal orientation, i think, can easily rigify our minds looking for some
kind of utopian future, and forgetting to create that future now. (and by
extention, this can be used as an excuse to impose leinist models, etc.)

etc.
