AUT: Brief introduction

Dear list members,

My name is Marco; I am new to this list. I have been following the archive for about six to nine months now. There are a few posts that really intrigued me and I always regretted not been able to ask a question of clarification or make my own contribution to a particular discussion.

I was introduced to political activism at university, some years ago now. However, many of the groups at university who purported to be revolutionary communists left a lot to be desired. Most of them remain within the confines of university campuses, and are highly introverted, constantly reviewing their structures, manifestos, etc.

What's happening in Sydney: there is a new a squatted social center, in the suburb of Homebush in Sydney. I haven't paid the The Grand Midnight Star a visit yet, because I've trying to finish an essay for uni. Here is a little blurb on the social centre that was posed to another list.
