Andrew
I was a member of Solidarity in the late 70s for a couple of years. If
there's anyhting you or others want to know, I could provide some
information. During the period I was a member there were round about a
hundred of us at any one time. We brought out a magazine four times a year
and managed to rotate the editorship around the organisation pretty happily.
There were lots of problems, but they were mostly political in terms of
widely diverging views. Anyway, I can say more if anyone wants.
Whatever the problems, it was one of the best organisations that has been
around and in many ways we, in Britain at least, are all descendants of
Solidarity.
