I've been told by a few people active at that time that Solidarity
had thousands of members - indeed one the the key problems they pointed
to what that it was unable to hang onto them.  Cetainly  by
the 1980's it was no more then a couple of dozen.

Remember the late 60's/early 70's in Britain as elsewhere were
a very different period from today with a lot more people involved
in 'revolutionary' organisations.

Anyone else able to comment on this
