There was a problem a few years ago with anarchism drifting too far
towards postmodernism and away from class struggle. This problems seems
to have now been resolved as all anarchists recognize capitalism as the
enemy, it's just that some place different priority on fighting it.

This is good news indeed! What happened to those anarchists who thought
the class struggle anarchism <<outdated>>?
Jamal wrote:
People like Anarchy magazine and the anarchy-list started talking about
class struggle again, basicaly. As for the people who thought class
struggle was outdated, well, they either changed their minds or became
something other than anarchists.
The only "anarchists" who dont like class struggle now are
anarcho-capitalists, who arnt anarchists at all, but corporate fascists.

Before I crack out the champagne, could we have a bit of evidence for this.
Though I am sure Jamal knows the U.S. scene far better than
I do, but his claims sounds like pure phantasy to me. Many in
the "U.S. scene" appear to be opposed to something they call
"classism". So are are of course quite a few capitalists, and
I would guess, the majority of those voting for the conservative
party here. Jamal is probably correct in saying that there has
been an increasing awareness of that there is something called
class struggle, but there is big step from this to understanding
society in a class perspective. It seems to me that still it
is the long shopping list of good causes and "anti-isms" that
is most marked trait of the "U.S. scene". And if anarchism is
to be defined as part of a social revolutionary project, and
not a particular subculture, I have hard to see that there exists
any anarchist movement in the U.S., just some small milieus and
circles. Maybe there is someting in making. I don't know. I
sincerly hope so.
