AUT: WTO
- Subject: AUT: WTO

My big question around the recent event in Seattle is,
what is the World Trade Organisation (WTO) all about,
or rather how does it manifest itself in concrete reality,
and how can it be fought on this terrain, i.e. is here
there and everywhere. WTO certainly is not only or foremost
located to Seattle. So what happens when the protesters
go back home, to not to speak of all those that were not
in Seattle, but here, there and everywhere? Is that so
much emphasis is put on events like those in Seattle a
sign of strength or weakness? It is great to be 50 000
in Seattle, not quite as great to be 50 back home (out-
side cyberspace).

in solidarity,
