SKILLED TRANSLATORS NEEDED

Become a part of SIPAZ's efforts to promote a just and lasting peace in
Chiapas by volunteering to be a SIPAZ translator.

SIPAZ is looking for talented, bilingual volunteers to assist us on
occasion in translating documents from Spanish to English and vice versa.
Volunteers are needed for a range of projects: assisting with the
translation of reports, urgent action appeals, or other short documents.
The work can be done from anywhere; we will send the documents to you. You
can determine how often you are available to help.

Volunteers must be capable of doing high quality translations and be
committed to meeting tight deadlines. They should also have a working
knowledge of current events in Chiapas and a commitment to social justice
issues.

To apply please send a short letter explaining your interest, the time
commitment you could make, and whether you are more comfortable translating
from Spanish to English or vice versa to:
