"all the world calling for military intervention" is a serious exaggeration.
But your concern for the possibility of further violence -- and the detailed
analysis in the article -- is appreciated.  Indonesia will never be a
Yugoslavia in the eyes of US military.  Whether or not we bomb East Timor in
order to save it, is also a non-issue.
