Thanks Chris -- I was reading your post and thinking you were quite lucid and
on some points definitely better informed than I. As to your last point, I
certainly cannot answer the particulars of how much remains within the
Zapatistas in general or the EZLN. If anyone has any concrete info to feed
into the discussion, I think that would be good. Beyond, that the general
notion is interesting, but how do we think about it very well without some
real info, without just circulating our preconceptions and ideologies. Monty
