Many "hard line" revolutionaries, are hard to accept class warthat is not a
general communist revolution... or at least a
struggle involving strike at factories.

Mass struggle against the capitalist system can be also less
then total.

Mass struggle against various aspects of world capitalist system
can be "legitimate" even if it is "only" on an aspect of the
capitalist system. The mass movement against nuclear
armament was one of them. Anti colonialist struggles were
another kind of "legitimate" mass struggles.
The fight of indigenous people against their special oppression
and exploitation by the major capitalist power of their countries
is "legitimate too".
The fact that the EZLN used armed struggle in combination of
mass struggle against special oppression and exploitation of
indigenous was not news. The exciting point is that this
mass struggle is in combination of leninists which converted
to libertarians and general libertarian aspects that gain
momentum in the mass struggle of the indigenous people.
The more exciting point is the contribution of the activists
of this struggle to the international non-leninist left against
the globalized capitalism.

To criticize the EZLN for not declaring anticapitalism revolution
against the Mexican capitalist state has a bad smell I prefer not
to call in a specific name.
