The official OECD Feb 14, 1998 document reads as follows..............
This document consolidates the text of the agreement considered in the
course of the MAI negotiations so far. The text reproduced here results
mainly from the work of expert groups and has not yet been adopted by
the
MAI Negotiating Group. It is presented with footnotes and proposals that
are still under consideration. The final text will be accompanied by
country specific exceptions which will form an integral part of the
agreement. Commentary to this text will be issued at a later date.
