To all Copwatch groups, collectives, and activists in the US

On May 31, 1995 Martin Suazo, a 23-year-old peruvien was shot in the head
by an officer in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

The Suazo family is suing the MUC (Montreal Urban Community) police.

Around 6 months ago on NBC there was a show called "DATELINE" where footage
of an uncanny similar "accident" happened in Baltimore. The Suazo family
understood that this footage was filmed by a Copwatch team in Baltimore.
They do not have the name of the victim, but it supposedly happened around
two years ago.

The Suazo family would to have any information regarding Copwatch and/or
other type of police watchdog groups in Baltimore which could help them to
find this information. If you have an address, telephone number, fax
number, e-mail, name of group/organisation etc., could you please forward
it to us ASAP.

Any information could be helpful. They need this for their civil case. The
cop has already went free... the courts judged it as an accident, although
the bullet went off 6 inches from Martin Suazo's head. Also another police
officer was putting handcuffs on Suazo at the time. Suazo was suspected of
shoplifting. He was unarmed and put up NO resistance.
