Problem is that the work is now so automated that the workforce has been
reduced by 2/3 over the last 20 years (or something like that - don't
remember the exact numbers), without any loss in production. So automated
too that physical strength is hardly an issue; it's mostly a matter of
pushing buttons & wiggling levers, though the diesel fumes are pretty
choking.
