AUT: Re: wages for housework

I am writing on a reply to Katha, while trying to think
the issues raised a bit over. In the meantime a brief
answer to Monty:

I agree that the WfH (whose works I almost entirely know
through the writings of others) have come with valuable
contributions to our understanding of unwaged work, whatever
one may think of their strategies.
There are of of course a lot of issues a struggle
for a shorter (waged) work day does not directly address,?
not at least that of the wage relation itself. But in
general I prefer strategies that *on a general level* tend
to decrease waged work's control over our lifes, not the
other way around.
