I don't know where *else* it appears, but the term "general intellect" (I
think in English in the original) can be found towards the end of the
so-called "Fragment on Machines" in the Grundrisse. In the English edition
I have (Penguin 1973), that's p.706; comparing this with Negri's _Marx
Oltre Marx_, my guess is you can find this in Italian at:

K. Marx, _Lineamenti fondamentali  della critica dell'economia politica
1857-1858_, La Nuova Italia Editrice, Firenze, vol. II, 1970, p.402 (maybe
p.403).

Of course, what the term *means*, and how it might be used (if at all), is
a whole different affair . . .
