 Seoul(Feb. 7, Saturday) -

 After so-called Big Deal yesterday, the angry voice of workers grows
 bigger. Although KCTU cancelled all the program, the strike and assembly
 were enforced by some local unions and the request of driving out
 cental leaders and responsible person in charge of negotiation has
 been poured. Dukbu Jinhung trade union in South Kyounggi and Mando
 machinaries trade union in Daejun staged 2 hour partial strikes,
 which both belong to KCTU.

 For my knowledge, this is the first wildcat strikes within democratic
 labor movement. Whereas FKTU was constructed and patronised long by
 government and boss so the compromise for them is natural,
 KCTU, which also called Democratic unions, was organized from below
 in struggles and its members has strong pride of independece from
 capital and power, and democracy based on unionist mass. So Disobeidence
 against the command from leadership has rarely been found. During last
 General strikes militant workers intensively criticized leader's escapist
 and opportunitist attitude but did not protest publicly. However, now
 the leadership's strike assertion at central committee and several
 meetings on January turns out a lie, mass angry come to burst.

 Several reginal headquarter of KCTU such as in Ulsan, Pusan-Yangsan,
 South Kyounggi, Chungnam made a statement to criticize the agreement
 and claim the resignment of central leadership.

 Seoul subway trade union said to strike from 12 day in spite of the
 agreement.

 Today the student unions againt corporatism and preparing alternative
 to Hanchongryun organised the assembly present 700 against layoffs
 and for the right of people's life at Yonsei Univ. and 18 comrades was
 arrested by riot police invasing into school. Mando union had a open
 meeting and hurled eggs at Kim Dae-jung's NCNP with 3000 at Daejun.

 Temporary delagates congress of KCTU is scheduled to hold on Feb. 9
 monday.
