Re: AUT: unions & revolution

look, I'm getting fed up with this dis(respect)ing of us Wobblies; in
fact, I don't know what happened on aut-op-sy in general that turned
analysis I used to recognize as autonomist (that is, both in theory *and*
connection to and *respect* of actually useful struggle) into what here in
the USA is sometimes correctly termed sectarianism (drivellous
in-fighting with little regard to us working stiffs).
I'm happy not to post news of struggles I consider relevant to this list
so that I don't clog anyone's e-mail. However, I will not stand idly by
while someone who as far as I can tell has no "punk-rock credibility"
(i.e. no concrete reference to the real world we all inhabit) wastes my
own e-mail box by insulting the union I find actually, in the workplace
in which I and my fellow workers are oppressed and exploited, helps me
struggle against hte wage system and for working class autonomy to
abolosh all classes on our own terms. When you say my union is a
historical anomoly and drone on about hwo much you hate it you not only
hurt my own humanity as somehone who struggles as a Wobbly, you also
betray those within our class who quite honourbly and -- yes -- at times
effectively are fighting theis rotten system. I could insult you back, but
not only is this a waste of time but I still don't know if you are
commiteed to any collective groups of which I could knock down.
Please cease and disist or else I'm leaving this e-mail list that used to
be quite *constructively* critical.
solidarity (and remember what thsi means!),
Chris
