It is your moderate, democratic Islamists who did this: I think, from 
now on, the only direction they will go is down!

Islam versus imperialism is not the dichotomy here: our islamists 
are collaborators of the imperialist powers. 

So, be careful when you pose the problem that way, that is, Islam versus
imperialism. The dichotomy should be oppressed versus oppressors.

As we mathematicians know quite well from a theorem of differential equations: 

"Ill posed problems have no solutions!"
