I am perplexed by this critique.  Kagarlitsky neither asserts NATO is
benign, nor that Russia should not criticize it.  He merely argues the
current Russian government inveighs with confused nationalist appeals that
fail to identify the real nature of threats, and that given this failure to
develop an attractive alternative model, it has Russia has few allies.
Zyuganov, for his part, is a bumbling nationalist that vaguely understands
the West is no friend to Russia, but does not advance a compelling vision to
compete against Putin's brand of authoritarianism, which, granted, is much
better than Yeltsin...

I, for one, want to know what's Zyuganov saying. Could you please
