Khomeini on Sodomy

Laws concerning same-sex sex are against certain sexual acts, not
against certain categories of persons, in Iran.1

That's because the laws are reflective of grotesque thoughts that say these people do NOT EXIST.

I thought you wee more able to see through these things; If the US government had such a law presented to them the exact same hair splitting would take place and you know this.

Reading your disgusting attempts to rationalize away what is going on here is a grotesque disservice to some perhaps 50 million people on Turtle Island alone. If you pulled this kind of rationalization of anti-Palestinian ordinances as a means to justifying Israel like Jared Israel, you would be drummed out of the movement as a Zionist apologist--

It is a statement about how pervasive and wholly encompassing homophobic shit is that you will probably not get the same kind of treatment, but this is grotesque apologia none the less so, not different simply because you are able to get away with it in homophobic America.

There are no laws against people in Iran because the queer population hasn't even been recognized as existing yet. In other words, if there were such laws that would be a tiny modicum of progress.

Shame, shame on you. You are not spewing bad politics, you have crossed a line.
