With due respect, the only thing the Dems want to end is particular forms
of imperial occupation and control that are not working; they are outright
imperialists and control freaks as much as the Republicans; they only
differ in who should be doing it and how it should be done. 

The fact that they would even dare to call the present "Government " of
Iraq any kind of a real government, let alone a legitimate one, shows where
they are coming from and how ignorant they are. for example, in that touted
"election" in which all those folks risked their lives walking around with
purple thumbs, any parties favoring US troops out immediately, or any
Islamist parties, were not even allowed on the ballot.

The present government of Iraq is nothing more than what the BIA/DIA
"Tribal Governments" in Indian Country are: modern day versions of the
Vichy "government" of nazi-occupied France, the Quisling "government" of
nazi-occupied Norway or the Pu Yi "government" of occupied Manchuria
(called "Manchuko" by the Japanese fascists).
