Spot-on. My defence of Henry on this list has been queried several times
before, but it is precisely for the reasons above that the dishonesty,
sniping, smears and debating tricks that have driven him (and others,
even if just bystanders) away from other lists get short shrift here. We
have quite a lot of list "refugees" for precisely that reason, and while
it's hardly perfect, the A-list seems to answer a want otherwise
unfulfilled.

I can respect that and HCKL's contributions to this list. When I read
one of Henry's pieces I see an open, flexible, engaged mind. A-List is
one of the few lists where I feel like I learn stuff.
