Re: [A-List] Re: Another Racist Radio Show

Even African-Americans can range into the area of indifference (at
least in my limited interactions) because they still tend to
meta-physicalize race relations in the US as limited to the
white-black divide. OTOH, if the people raising the objections can get
media-capable people like Rev. Sharpton to take up their cause (maybe
they have? how would I know til he appears on Larry King or
something?) they might have a chance to take this further than a
short-term suspension. But it looks to me like the media cartelists
have said they have suspended and fired and shown they will not
tolerate ignorance and racism ENOUGH NOW.

African American can be quite chauvinistic (racist) towards Asian Americans
and Mexicans and anyone else. Some of this is outright ignorance - like
referring to Asians as food, "Oriental People" and some is imperial chauvinism.

In their relentless quest for work the Mexican workers have forever changed
America and viewing America and the world in terms of black/white is on its
death bed. Strange . . . many African American still refer to Italians as
white, with absolutely no notion of a North and South divide in Italy. I have met
very few whites in life that refers to Italians as white . . . it is always
Italians.
