In Montréal, which I believe has the biggest vote outside France, the %'s were:

Ségo 35,7
Sarko 30,7
Bayrou 22,9
LePen 3,3
Bové 1,6

At this late date? Is that common in France -- I mean late electoral decision-making?

I think the Bayrou factor played a lot this time.

I just came back from voting in Osaka: Royal/Bayrou/Sarkozy, but the Tokyo results are the other way: Sarkozy/Bayrou/Royal... One more hour to wait...
