pushed up in relation to what though? The official turnout figure for these legislatives was a whisker over 60%, last time it was a whisker under 60% so about the same. Kosovo affected timing though, because the compradorist parties didn't want to compound their impopularity by risking a vote after the UN unveiled its Kosovo plan. With the vote pushed up, the hope was that Kosovo wouldn't be so front and centre in the campaign. A later vote, it was believed, would risked to help the SRS and the SPS.
