Sorry his analyses don't agree with yours... however you might note that it's easy to put a filter in place which scans the body of your emails for the words 'Juan Cole', and just sends them to your junk mail.Juan Cole is outside of his area of expertise. His analysis is hardly cautious, just liberal and not leftist. He bores me to no end. As I said before, most of his sources are the same ones you, I or Noam Chomsky read. Do we need to quote this guy ad nauseum? I was sick after reading about one piece by him.
