Dear Nestor,
your post reminds me of a question I need to ask you. In 1949, Just
before Britain devalued the pound, it negotiated a long-term meat deal with
Argentina -- in pounds. Then , it devalued, and screwed \Argentina.
Might you be able to give me the details? I have difficulty finding them
here in the US. This is an analogy for how countries will lose on $
depreciation today.
