Dear Hari,

Neither are mine, as I am sure you know after all these years. I tell you:
this list moderation is not an easy business, especially on lists such as
this one ,where you have people from a large spectrum of opinions. 

Indeed, one other reason for my suggested reformulation was to avoid such
unproductive fights. The issue is not whether Saddam is a great statesman or
a butcher: the issue is what it means to choose Iraq over and support her
against Imperialism.

Lastly, when I see such fights between two persons, such as Henry and you, I
like dearly, I get very sad. May I ask the two of you to be a bit politer to
one another, if for no other reason, just for me, please?
