Dear Henry,
The same, if not more, goes for Kemal too but I have very little positive
comments to make about him. Moreover, I know Kemal much better than I know
Saddam since I happen to be a product of the society he manufactured
together with the ones with him who were ruling Turkey at the time. This
does not mean however that I do not recognize the importance of what they
did, condemn the anti-imperialist struggle they have given or think that
everything they did was garbage, nor does this mean that I do not recognize
the difficulties they were experiencing. As a saying goes:
Men make their own history but never as they please.
But your response above does not answer my question below:
