Let's not lose sight of the fundamental problem here: that
there are powerful, vested interests who are NOT interested
in the truth of the matter, WHATEVER it might be...
Without keeping their various real and possible subterfuges
in mind at all times, there is no way real, scientific
enquiry can proceed without being steered away from
'unfortunate' truths. And so this problem, if anything, is
far more political than scientific -- but it will ONLY be
resolved thru diligent scientific research: including in
those areas where science intersects with politix.
