This is where this stupid Dr. Cameron screws up: most of these lies are told
so that the business community values the researchers' research above zero.
Private money goes into any research only if the outcome of that research
can be commoditized so that it can be turned into private property in the
hopes that the "gain" is larger than the "pain" to private money. If not,
then no private money goes into any research. If you subject a public good
as vital to the well-being of all of us on earth as science to the rules of
the "free" market, not only such false claims become inevitable but also
many other vital research that cannot be commoditized never gets done. 

Why is it that most people are unable to see such a trivial thing to see?
