Re: [A-List] Defining 'terrorism' is harder than you'd think

Since Michael invoked me on this point, allow me to reiterate the context
today leaves it so that the unexamination of the pro Israel *Jewish* lobby
(I am carefully making that specific point: Zionists, some "secular" and
ideological from an Empire perspective, like Rumsfeld, some Christian and
religiosity-nutty like Pat Robertson are not Zionists I am referring to in
this case) will leave us hopelessly disarmed in recognizing the enemy.

No, this "lobby" (for want of a better word) does not have annual meetings
where all "Jews" get together and chart out policy-- it is a group of
people, with very sizable influence, who get invited to the inside track
parties, who are among the bourgeois of the continent, etc... who are able
to use money combined with a political assassination of any who dare speak
of their existence to achieve most of their policy goals.

Perhaps Anne speaks too broadly of "Jews" when she talks about "their"
insistence-- such isn't really much of an analytical category for any
people. However, this should be read in the context of a polity that refuses
to discuss, will not mention basic facts for fear of being labeled, such as
the standard of living on a per capita basis of people who identify as
Jewish happens to be the highest on Turtle Island. So what, I say, but the
facts cannot hurt you.

We need to be able to counteract the ideological hegemony of Zionism, and
that includes the Jewish Zionist organized community that pumps millions and
perhaps billions into an ongoing idealistic war-- a war that not only is
acclerated when they blow up buildings housing children or tie up expectant
mothers at check points; it is a war that happens inside the pages of the
Oxford Dictionary (Bob Everton, comrade and friend who passed away only days
ago, was absolutely livid about the left in general not having much to say
in regards to this poisoning of discourse right from the very standard
bearers of definition itself) or Websters. This war is escalated when news
outlets promote "Disputed" as a description of the West Bank, and this war
is certainly escalated when "grassroots" Zionist student organizations are
funded with hundreds of thousands and millions of dollars to "counteract the
Palestinians"-- meaning, to counteract those who speak the truth since we
have no money!

How can any of this be brought into the realm of sensibility if we do not
speak of the power wielded behond the scenes?

Those who make accusations of anti-Semitism are making a cover for their
genocidal plans. Nothing less.

While I understand the point Michael
is making here , I would say that any reporter covering Palestine who has
not been accused of being an "anti-semite" is a contemptible hack. In this
context, how could the label be other than a badge of honour?
