Response Jim C: to call someone a "liar", on this list or anywhere else,
means that one is able to "prove" not only was something incorrect or
untruthful said by another person, but, also, that the incorrect or
untruthful statement was uttered or written by that other person who
KNEW that the given statement being uttered or written was incorrect or
untrue but that person decided to put the statement out anyway. This
gets into state of mind and intent (mens rea) and of course opens the
counter of on what basis and with what evidence does one assert
knowledge of true state of mind and intent of another on this list.

Please, let us not cause this vital list to implode as others so often
have as a result of extreme vitriol and unsustainable charges. I do not
believe that those on this list who disagree with me on a given point
are "lying" or putting out that which they "KNOW" to be untrue or
incorrect.
