in any case, here we go again with the, "STALIN, STALIN, IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF

The issue that is Beslan and the hostage taking of roughly 1400 . . . and the
murder of 330 people . . . many of them children . . . is a question of
political terrorism . . . which no thinking communist can support.

This is the question avoided. The issue is not Putin . . . or Yelsin but
rather the attitude of communist workers towards the current wave of political
terrorism.

Beslan has entered the English language in a similar manner as 9/11. No
thinking person . . . much less a communist worker . . . would suggest support for
the bombing of the Twin Towers.

Political terrorism . . . in the modern meaning of the term . . . as a
general rule is the enemy of the proletariat. There are exceptions to the rule in
the world theater . . . but Beslan is not an example of this exception. No one
in their right mind would advocate killing over 330 school children and adults
or holding hostages in any American school.

Obviously . . . the national question has changed greatly since the time of
Marx . . . who approached matters one way and the time of Lenin. What is new
that is the National Factor is not the role of American imperialism . . . but
its radcially changed class and economic content.

Nevertheless . . . Beslan . . . the hostage taking and murder of children is
avoided by the "left ideological frontmen" of the imperial bourgeoisie and
presented as a colonial question and anti-colonial actions and this is not the
case.
