Dear Sabri,
Higher interest rates will make it less profitable for arbitragers to borrow to buy high-interest bonds. They will sell these bonds, raising long-term interest rates. So any modest rise in rates will be magnified. This will dampen the stock market. But it will strengthen the dollar, probably.
