Sabri Oncu's reminder is most important.  On private correspondence 
with late Mark I commented that the situation required a newly 
organized "International" in Europe, unless you would rather want the 
bourgeoisie to organize it for you.

If cdes. in Europe don't follow Mark's advice, and organize a truly 
revolutionary European Party, then this void will be filled by social 
democrats.  Either right wing or left wing social democrats.

The EU must, first and foremost, make sure it has a tame Left wing 
within its 'old' borders in order to succesfully incorporate the 
newly acquired subservient masses of the East.  If I am not wrong, 
this is exactly what the German bourgeoisie (that is, the EU's 
locomotive engineer) learnt within the borders of Germany.

Maybe more knowledgeable people can illustrate.  But yes, I believe 
that Mark's proposition was urgent, prophetic and _full of sense_.  

If one night you fall asleep on a freeway, don't blame the vans for 
injuries.  Perhaps you, cdes., are not in a position to wake up, 
which may well be the case. But if traffic will roll over me anyway, 
then I prefer to see the lights coming with full open eye.  

And, at least, will try to press my hands on the pavement as a last 
attempt to wake up.  Only those who quit fighting are actually 
defeated, as we say in Argentina.  And believe me, we know lots about 
defeats.
